Aprons are designed for lighter applications. The apron covers slide over the edge of the end of the way, rather than rolling up on a canister. They can be weighted or fixed at the end, not fastened to the moving part. Our apron covers come in several materials from fabric (standard or hi-temp), or using the AGS1 or Sealed Link styles as used in the roll up covers.
- Aprons can be mounted with an open style or within a canister. Aprons that have an open design are extremely versatile and are built to protect machine areas where medium to light-duty protection is required.
- The Canister style is essentially open apron covers mounted inside a protective canister. The canister protects the apron from the external environment and other elements that may effect the mechanisms that roll up the apron. This reduces the potential for accidents to personnel working near the take up mechanism.
