These spring-loaded units are typically made from Vinyl Coated Polyester, Hypalon or Neoprene materials. The covers are available with or without canisters.
AGS1 Aluminum Covers
AGS1 covers are designed to endure extreme heat and to withstand extremely heavy chip loads, but only use up a small amount of space. The narrow anodized aluminum links on the cover can bend around sharp corners easily. These covers do not provide protection against liquids.
Sealed Link Covers
Similar to AGS1 covers, yet Sealed Link covers provide more sealing protection against liquids. The cover utilizes a polyurethane hinge to seal out most liquids and that joins the cover's aluminum guards that repel chips. The link is tear resistant and the cover will provide years of performance.
Stainless Steel Covers
Canister stainless steel rollup covers are used in the most harsh shop environments. They are available as walk-on capable and will bear the weight of heavy chip loads. They will not rust or corrode nor allow any penetration of unwanted substances below its surface. The canister is very compact, providing maximum protection in limited space.
